OUR STORY
It all started with my great-grandfather Georges, a fisherman in Cassis.
At the time, paid vacations didn't exist, but there were a few privileged people who strolled around the port; it was very rare, but it did happen.
Sometimes, on beautiful days, they would ask my great-grandfather to take them out on the sea for money.
He would sometimes agree and head out on the sea, proud to show off his beloved Calanques.
My grandfather told me that he often did it for free if he found them friendly.
Knowing my great-grandfather's story, I can assure you that I believe it without hesitation, even though I never knew him.
Because Georges Boyer, my great-grandfather, was a righteous man. He helped countless people escape during the war... He would take them to the En Vau cove where a British submarine would pick them up and take them far away from the Germans.
In my family, the men are fishermen from father to son, but that has changed; now the women are also involved.
It is with immense pleasure that we share this magnificent bay, steeped in history and memories, hoping to see our guests leave happy.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Information and helpful tips to help you plan your visit
Where to park?
Access to the port of Cassis is very difficult during peak season, so we recommend using the paid parking lots near the town center, such as the La Viguerie ou Les Mimosas parks.
You can also choose the free Les Gorguettes car park where numerous shuttle buses are available to take you to the town center.
The shuttle costs €1.60 round trip per person and is free for children under 6.
Please do not drive into the village center. We recommend visiting in the morning.
Market is held on Wednesday and Friday mornings in the town center.
Restrooms on board the ship
We do not have restrooms on board the Nounours.
However, public restrooms are available on the Esplanade of the main beach and in the Public Garden.
Wheelchair/Persons with Reduced Mobility Access
As access to the boat is via a boarding ladder, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility on board our vessel.
Strollers:
Strollers are permitted on board the Nounours.
Pets allowed
Dogs are allowed on board, with the exception of Category 1 and 2 dogs, and are the sole responsibility of their owners.
Food allowed
We do not offer catering services or sell food or drinks on board the Nounours. However, you can prepare and bring your own picnic or opt for a packed lunch from our partner La Caille d'Or, in order to have a meal...
